Jessi Shakarian got her start in tech as a developer, but found that she loved everything that happens before it’s time to code. She started as an information architect apprentice at DIA Design, and works as a freelance UX designer and digital accessibility consultant. She’s currently an accessibility project manager with DIA. Jessi is a public speaker and writer on chess and UX, and is currently writing a book.
When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, catching up on the newest Marvel event, and hanging out with her cats, Lucy and Ollie.
