Apprentice Program - Week of August 25th, 2024 (WK35)

What’s on Julia’s mind these days?

It’s the end of a busy summer. I personally try to never travel in the summer as it can be the most crowded time. I did travel some from the east coast to California a lot this past spring and summer for family reasons. That should be over now. Fall is one of my favorite seasons as I love the fall colors on the east coast. Also, looking forward to apple picking, apple cider, and apple cider doughnuts. 🙂 The smell of fall is beautiful.

So I am taking some time to practice gratitude. I am not in a war torn country, though my heart bleeds for those who are. I have a home and family. I have a roof over my head. I am not afraid of being persecuted for speaking out. I am not going to talk about politics. Let’s be grateful for what we do have and try not to think about work for just an hour, where I think a lot of us are struggling for various reasons.

It will soon be a good time to cozy up with a book and a hot drink as the nights will get longer and the days cooler.

Let us all be grateful for what we have.

How can we help you? Tell us about your project, apply to the apprenticeship, or join us at a community event.
